RHINO CHARGE 2016 ED
This year the Rhino Charge was held in the Maasai Mara in Narok. This year's charge had a lot of participating companies and individuals who made the event a success. The total contribution this year was Kshs 139 million up from 108 million last year.
The Thino Charge event is organized in order to raise funds to support the activities of the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust, an NGO which works towards a noble cause: the conservation and protections of Kenya’s mountain range ecosystems, the so-called “Water Towers”.
This year's overall winners were McKittrick, Knight, Ray, Bovard and Smith competing in car no.5 entered by McKittrick. They managed to cover a distance of 46.356 kms clearing all the 13 sectors ahead of the 63 teams entered.
Copy Cat has always been an avid supporter of Team Chomz (car no.14) who this year despite the setbacks (violations) managed to clinch 16th place and covered 71.598 kms.
Our contribution to the Rhino Ark has been ongoing for a couple of years now as a one of our CSR activities. We act as official guard post sponsors where competitors have to pass through as part of the course. We look forward to next year's Rhino Charge in a bid to support Rhino Ark's ongoing projects
